Florence, Italy July 17- July 19 (and a taste of tuscany)
The Florence leather markets, Duomo, Michelangelo's David, and the red rooftops are all just as spectacular as people say they are.
Ponte Vecchio, a bridge in Florence, where people built their houses.
View of Florence from a rooftop before a thunderstorm.
After a thunderstorm.
Enjoying aperitif on a hotel rooftop. Aperitif is an Italian version of happy hour.
We love rooftop views!
Waiting in line to go up the Duomo.
Love locks, everywhere.
View from Duomo over all of Florence.
Piazzale Michelangelo.
Sunset with running man over Florence.
Taste of Tuscany
Daron and I took a day trip from Florence to San Gimignano to do some wine tasting.
San Gimignano, a small medieval town in the provence of Siena, Tuscany.
Beautiful view over the town of San Gimignano.
What else is there to do on a 100 degree day in tuscany than drink chilled white wine?
Next stop, Cinque Terre.
